»OCEAN SUNRISE«

Going to the beach is always fun and exciting.
But getting up early for the sunrise is just super!!!
So we get up, we're tired.
Yet so excited.
We're on our way, the sky is beginning to awaken.
I'm worried we're going to miss it.
Finally, our arrival!
We made it in time!
The very edge of the earth is turning bright pink.
The excitement continues to well up.
You can't even imagine the beauty of it unless you see it in person.
The sun begins the peak over the horizon.
So bright.
So big.
So orange.
Oh! The beauty!!
*snap*
A lovely photograph, indeed!
Orange, yellow, pink, purple, blue.
God's paintings are the best.
A big bird, enjoying the sunrise as well.
*snap*
Another lovely photograph.
A bird silhouette.
So majestic looking.
The sun goes higher, it gets smaller looking.
Our attention is now on the shells.
Little beach gems.
Small pieces of precious treasure.
Collecting.
Placing in a mason jar for safe keeping.
Now for resting.
Basking in that beautiful warm sunshine.
A truly lovely morning it was!

This was supposed to be yesterdays post.
Sorry that it's a day late.
I was gone literally almost all day, yesterday.

»HOPE«

This blog post was going to be about my trip to Tennessee.
But I changed my mind.

I'm not going to get in any political stuff.
But it's obvious, that this country has been and continues going downhill.
Real fast.
And it's just going to get worse.
No matter who gets elected this year.
We're screwed.
But that's not what I'm going to focus on.
I'm going to focus on the hope that I have.

Hope.
It seems as if there is none, at times.
But there is!
Jesus!
Jesus is the only hope.
No matter what happens, He is still in control.
We can always lean on, trust and put our hope in Jesus.
And doing so, you will be blessed!
Don't just take my word for it.

Blessed is the man that trusts in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.”
Jeremiah 17:7

In this world, it's hard not to get discouraged.
But when you do start feeling that way,
Remember.
Remember that we can put all our hope in Jesus.
And He's got this.

Have a great evening,
~Elisabeth

»LIFE THESE DAYS«

Hello, friends!
I hope today finds you in good health.
I'm sorry I haven't been present for awhile.
I was out of town for about 10 days.
Just got back yesterday .
And leaving again tomorrow!
I love being on the road,
traveling.
Its my favorite!
I'm barely being able to squeeze in a blog today.
Though I should be unpacking.
And re-packing, I wanted to make sure to write a blog for this week since I missed last week!
And I didn't want you all to think I stopped blogging or something! ;-)

I have had the wonderful opportunity to stay with my 95-year-old great-grandmother for awhile!
It was a wonderful time! Much laughter, and great memories were made!
I cherish the time I have with her very much!
She's forever making me smile and laugh!

Isn't she the cutest?
One lovely evening we went on a walk.

I now know where I really get my sass, stubbornness and attitude from! ;-)

Many nights of unforgettable dominoes, rummy and some marble game that I don't know the name of. ;-)

And tomorrow I'm planning to travel to TN!
I can't wait to see SO many friends and family!
Hopefully I'll do a blog post about the trip full of lots of fun photographs when I return!

A few other things:
I don't know about where you all live, but the weather here in northern FL is mighty pretty!
My coconut oil is now solid! { You coconut oil lovers understand :-) }

Open windows.
The nights call for a light sweater.
Fall decorations are out!
I just feel like happiness is in the air. ♥

Today, in between trips, thankfully I got to spend this lovely day with one of my very best friends.
We stopped and picked wildflowers on the side of the road.
Then we went to the park and picnicked by the lake!
It was absolutely beautiful!
I couldn't have asked for a better day.

Well, I guess there's a short update on my life, these days.
Grace and peace to all,
Elisabeth
